Similar to how property managers oversee rental homes, these rental companies acquire pile drivers in several ways:

• Purchasing new equipment directly from manufacturers.
• Acquiring used equipment, either through cash purchases or with bank financing.

• Typical revenue split: PIE retains 70% of rental income, while the rental house receives 30% for managing logistics, service, and customer support.
• Example: If a pile driver rents for $10,000 per month, PIE earns $7,000, and the rental house earns $3,000.

Historically, these sub-rent opportunities were accessible only to insiders with the capital, industry knowledge, and connections to acquire and strategically place equipment. PIE opens this opportunity to outside investors.
